- If the activity is held live in the state of NY, then direct addictions board is required, ie: NAADAC. If the activity is held outside NY, is virtual, enduring or remote, it is considered "outstate" and this reciprocity applies.
Social Workers (ASWB)
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Amedco is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Amedco maintains responsibility for this course. Social Workers completing this course receive 16 live / 40.25 enduring GENERAL continuing education credits.

- For events that are LIVE WEBINARS, you can claim credits using Activity Type 171. You will receive a CE Certificate from ASMBS with the number of credits for the activity. Keep this certificate for your records.
- Live webinars/teleseminars do NOT need prior approval as long as they meet the core criteria listed at https://www.cdrnet.org/core-criteria. ASMBS meets these criteria for their events.
RECORDINGS
- If the meeting is offered by a provider that is accredited by Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Education (example: Amedco), you can claim credits from watching the recording using Activity Type 102. You will receive a CE Certificate from ASMBS with the number of credits for the activity. Keep this certificate for your records.
